Setup Multiple Products
Once you've tailored the settings to match your store’s needs, PricePanda enables you to easily add your products in two ways: individually or through a bulk upload. This knowledge article walks you through the step-by-step instructions to set up price-per-unit for multiple products using a CSV file upload.
- Head to your PricePanda dashboard and click the Upload a CSV File button.
- It is important to note that the CSV file should follow the standard format. Click on the CSV file template link to access the template.
- The template includes four columns:
- SKU: Enter the SKU exactly as defined for your products. You can get this data from your Product listings page or Inventory page.
- Variant GID: Enter the variant ID in this column, if there are no variants leave this field empty.
- Number of Units: Enter the number of units per product; this is a mandatory field.
- Unit of Measurement: This is an optional field, you can update in this file or enter the value in the settings.
- Once the CSV file is ready, click the Upload a CSV File button. Then click on the Add file button to upload the file or “drag and drop” it into the window.
- Click on the Save button to activate the price-per-unit display in your store.
Best practices to update the CSV file:
- Do not change the column names or their order.
- The SKU or Variant GID field values are required; at least one of these values must be provided in each row.
- The Number of Units column is mandatory and must contain a value.
- If you are on the Free subscription plan, you may only enter up to five products. The Unlimited plan allows you to upload unlimited products and variants via CSV.
If you need to replace the file, please return to the dashboard and upload the updated file to activate the new settings.
And that’s it! Your bulk upload is now in progress—happy listing!
